When making homemade beer at home, you'll need to find a good beer fermentation tank. They're not too expensive and can make brewing your own beer easy.

An important first step is to decide what kind of fermentation tank you want. There are several options to choose from. Some are made from plastic and some of them are more heavy duty. A light weight plastic one may be adequate if you're just using it for storage and not brewing.

If you plan on storing the finished beer inside the tank, you'll also need to choose a lid. The lid needs to be able to keep out elements from the beer while allowing air circulation around the fermenting tank. You might want to also invest in a cover so that moisture and other things can't get into the beer.

You'll also need to decide whether or not you need a fermenting tank that's open or closed. Open ones work best if you plan to store the beer in them. But if you plan to use the tank for brewing, a closed fermenting tank is better. This way you can be sure that the beer will be ready to use when you get home from the store.

You'll also want to think about what kind of fermentor you need. They come in different sizes and types. Some have a rack and a basket and others have one main basket and two smaller baskets. It all depends on how much beer you plan on making. Just make sure that you get one that's large enough for the amount of beer you plan on making.

You'll also want to make sure that you buy a good lid that's strong enough to keep out insects like termites. Termites love the sweet and fruity flavors of the fermenting beer and can easily ruin the whole process.

Beer fermentation tanks are often referred to as brewing kettles and most of the time they're called beer brewing kettles. But sometimes they're also called kegs and other names. It's really up to you how you refer to them.

After you've purchased the proper equipment and lid for your fermenting tank, you should start your brewing. Nowadays most brewers have kits you can purchase and make the process easier and faster.

Make sure that you take care of the items you get with the kit. These include the airlock, air hose and other parts needed to ensure that your fermenting tank is working properly.

As an example, the most common airlock is a Kegerator, which you get with your kit and this attaches to your Kegerator through tubing. You'll also need a second airlock that attaches to the fermenting tank and this can be used to fill the beer dispenser.

Then you'll need a bucket to put the fermenting tank in, a siphon to siphon line and siphon filter to remove yeast and bacteria. Also make sure that you get a siphon hanger to attach to the beer dispenser and a funnel to transfer the beer into the keg.

In order to keep the siphon line clean, you can buy siphon line cleaners and other siphon accessories. A siphon hose is also very important since it makes it easier to pour the liquid back into the fermenter.

Make sure that you have a keg siphon attached to your fermenter. Otherwise the sediment in the bottom of the bottle can wash over the siphon line and cause the beer to run into the fermenter instead of the fermentor.

Make sure that you use silicone caulk on the siphon lines. The purpose of the silicone is to seal the siphon lines and prevent leaks. This is also a very important step so that your beer can't spill over the siphon lines and get onto your other supplies.

You'll also need some type of air lock to seal the Keg and the hose connected to the Keg. Make sure that you get one that is very strong and durable.

Once you've finished your supplies you should fill your Keg with the beer and the fermentor. You should then attach the siphon line to the beer dispenser.
